Downtown Suwanee
Launch Site!Challenge: To develop a site that highlights the recent renovations of Downtown Suwanee, provides the tools to keep it updated and fit within a limited budget.
Approach: We used photography of the downtown area and collaborated with the members of the DDA to develop the right image. For functionality, we were able to develop a feature set that met the needs of the DDA team and was implemented using our proprietary CMS Tigeradmin.
Results: The resulting site captures the contemporary and classic feel of the downtown area and provides the DDA with the tools necessary to keep it updated and useful.
The City Of Norcross, GA
Launch Site!Challenge: The City Manager of Norcross, Ga, after having seen some of our earlier interactive map work asked for something no one else had and we were the team to deliver.
Approach: Using Aerial photography, GIS building footprints and driving through the town in a bucket truck, we were able to develop for Norcross a new tool.
Results: The final product enables the City of Norcross to promote the recent development and growth of their fair city.
Downtown Athens, GA
Launch Site!Challenge: The mission of the Athens Downtown Development Authority (ADDA) is to promote, to maintain, and to enhance a safe and economically viable central business district by focusing both public and private resources on the fulfillment of downtown's potential to benefit the entire community.
Approach: J House was able to assist the ADDA accomplish their goal of promoting the downtown business district by consolidating information about downtown events, parking, and businesses into a user-friendly website.
Results: The Athens Downtown Development Authority website averages over 300 visits a day.
Burke County Chamber Of Commerce
Launch Site!Challenge: A municipal site for Burke County, GA, featuring information about county services and elected officials for Burke County, the Burke County Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Waynesboro.
Approach: J House used input from a variety of local government officials, business owners, and city employees to create this comprehensive site.
Results: The Burke County, GA website contains information about everything from local tourism to city employment and can be used as a resource by virtually everyone, from long time residents to out of state travelers planning a visit to the county.
Athens-Clarke County Planning Department
Launch Site!Challenge: The mission of the ACC Planning Department is to effectively manage community change so that a positive environment is obtained. As a result, ACC Planning Department has a great deal of ordinances, code, meeting minutes, and public announcements to manage internally as well as publicly share.
Approach: Due to the great deal of information housed on the ACC Planning Department website, J House spent a great deal of time working with the client to decide the best way to present this information in a clear, organized manner.
Results: To date, the site is used by a variety of ACC residents and business owners from all over the city.
Athens Area Chamber of Commerce
Launch Site!Challenge: The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce is an extremely active organization of local business owners and community members. Whether planning workshops or working to make the community a better place through initiatives like One Athens, members are always on the move.
Approach: J House wanted to match this creative energy with an equally dynamic website where users could complete such tasks as sign up for the Clarke County Mentoring Program or register for one of the Chamber's monthly workshops.
Results: With an easy to use interface and e-commerce capability, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce website allows our client to not only share information with uses, but also collect payment for goods and services.
